Join us for Hudson Pride Center’s first LGBTQ+ Youth Mental Health Summit in Hudson County!
This summit is designed to bring together parents, caregivers, educators, and social service providers for a day of education and empowerment, offering valuable tools and strategies to help create safe, inclusive, and affirming spaces for LGBTQ+ youth.
LGBTQ+ youth face unique challenges related to their sexual orientation and gender identity/expression, often leading to heightened risks for mental health struggles such as depression, anxiety, and suicide ideation. These stressors contribute to higher rates of homelessness, substance misuse, and other high-risk behaviors. It is critical that we come together to better understand their needs and equip ourselves to support them in meaningful ways.
