Wednesgays: Everybody's Talking About Jamie at The Byrd Theatre in Richmond VA

Every Wednesday - 7:00PM to 9:00PM EST

Based on the West End musical of the same name, itself adapted from the BBC Three documentary Jamie: Drag Queen at 16, Everybody's Talking About Jamie is the latest jump from stage to screen. Produced in cooperation with the stage production's creative team, the film introduces the extraordinary Max Harwood as the titular English teen who battles prejudice to find his identity.

The event is free. We ask that you secure a free Eventbrite ticket for communication needs for Covid protocols if necessary.

Suggested donation of $10 to Diversity Richmond/Richmond Triangle Players/VA Pride at the door.

A few things to know:

We use a special cleaner we found to clean all surfaces, even the cloth seats, that kills all sorts of pathogens including Covid-19. We wash our hands often and have hand sanitizer available in multiple places throughout the building.

We've been cleaning and updating our HVAC systems as well to ensure clean air and air quality.

We ask that you keep your mask on in the building unless you are seated and enjoying your movie concessions.

We'll open the doors 30 minutes early.

If you have COVID or have been exposed, or have any symptoms, we appreciate you staying home.
