Queer & Well: Yoga with Jack Workman at San Francisco LGBT Center in San Francisco CA

Queer & Well is a free monthly Center Community Program offering that provides a communal space for LGBTQ+ folks to explore different forms of care rooted in connection to the community. Whether it's caring for ourselves, each other, or the communities we are a part of—connection nourishes our bodies, minds, and spirits. Every month, Queer & Well will host various events where folks can participate and learn about various forms of care, such as yoga, art therapy, and more. 

Join us for our latest monthly Yoga offering with the magical Jack Workman from HAUM SF. Jack will be leading a levels class, exploring how yoga and movement can be tools for self-discovery.

Those who attend can win a lululemon outfit, courtesy of the Grant Avenue store, and everyone will receive a Q&W goody bag with our world-famous stickers and buttons.

Jack believes that building relationships is the essence of what we’re doing in yoga practice, whether it’s Vinyasa yoga or any other type of yoga. Through yoga, we have the opportunity to get to know ourselves and our bodies on a deeper and more nuanced level. 

Everyday life doesn’t always provide an opportunity to cultivate physical, mental, or emotional embodiment. Yoga is a fantastic tool to step into your most authentic and real self.
