ABOUT ALSO YOUTH SNACK & SUPPLY Drive:
During November and December SarasotaOUT.com is challenging YOU to gather snacks and supplies for ALSO Youth. This is a great opportunity for you or your team to do something good for our LGBTQ youth and give back to the community! Our November G2H2 will be a collection spot for the drive but you may also drop supplies off at the youth center or use the Amazon Wish List.

WHO IS ALSO YOUTH:
For over 25 years, ALSO Youth has provided outreach and a safe space drop-in center with weekly programming including peer support groups for the LGBTQ+ youth in Sarasota and Manatee counties. Through partnerships with local school districts and other youth-serving organizations, they strive every day to create an inclusive community where our youth can live, study, work, and play without violence, fear, harassment, or discrimination based on real or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity.

Gay Group Happy Hour (G2H2) takes place the first Thursday of every month at a new location throughout Sarasota and provides the community with a different atmosphere to meet, network, and hang out! G2H2 Sarasota's goal is to spotlight businesses that are LGBT-friendly and welcome the community.

ABOUT BAHI HUT:
Many of us have fond memories at the Hut. From Ringling students reminiscing about the Bahi Hut Jingle to our long-time surrounding neighborhoods, collectively you have helped us build the Bahi Hut experience. The original 1954 Hut received some much-needed love and care during the Covid shutdown in 2020. You'll find elements from the original Hut have found a new environment, leaving you with the same intimate experience.
