It's baaaack...! Grab your squad, your most fabulous beach outfits for Sarasota's infamous Big Gay Beach Day!
The Big Gay Beach Day is a grassroots event where Sarasota's LGBTQ + Ally community gathers together on North Lido for a day at the beach. Big Gay Beach Day in the past has attracted attendees from various parts of Florida and major cities across the US. What started in 2018 with just a handful of people has now grown into a multi-day event called "Big Gay Weekend!"
Because there are no amenities at this section of the beach you are encouraged to bring everything you would need for a self-contained day at the beach. Umbrellas, beach blankets, chairs, coolers, sunscreen, canopies, water, BYOB, snacks, towels, etc.
FREE event for ALL of Sarasota's LGBT community & allies. All ages are welcome. Attendance is at your own risk.
Please remember to keep our beaches beautiful by cleaning up after yourself.
