Ryan will be at the bar pouring some of your favorite holiday libations\, as we learn about the exciting plans to commemorate\, document and celebrate the long and colorful history of the LGBTQ+ community based in Asbury Park. It's an evening to share the stories of coming out\, where we met\, the last time on that dance floor\, incredible drag shows\, and I remember that bar. Invite your friends and neighbors\, and learn about the goals of The Asbury Park Rainbow Walk Project as we lay the groundwork to install permanent markers around the city to commemorate the establishments that made Asbury Park the home of NJ’s LGBTQ+ Community. This is a big effort that will include an online presence\, recorded word of mouth documentation\, a virtual map and the instillation of permanent commemorative sidewalk plaques.
