Join them for "Pride: No Prejudice: A BIPOC Pride Month Celebration," proudly presented by WHYY News and N.I.C.E.

This special event is crafted as a platform for queer BIPOC musicians from across New Jersey, Greater Philadelphia, and Delaware. Our goal? To highlight and celebrate the astounding talent within our community.

Happening at the intersection of Pride Month and Juneteenth, our celebration aims to accentuate our region’s deep and vibrant culture, inspired by the rich history of artistic expression and community building by notable figures like New Jersey native Marsha P. Johnson, Chester County-born community organizer Bayard Rustin, and author James Baldwin.

We believe in the power of perspectives, and through this event, we wish to give queer BIPOC artists the stage to share their voices.
Hosted by WHYY News' Tennyson Donyea, with vibes by DJ Poetik Selektions, the showcase will also include a segment dedicated to hearing your thoughts on news media coverage of LGBTQ+ issues.
