Bears Attack Red Spring Picnic Area. Located 5 miles from Red Rock Casino Resort, join us for grilled hamburgers and hot dogs with all the fixins.
Enjoy spectacular views of the red and tan sandstone cliffs of Calico Basin. The area is tucked between the gray limestone La Madre Mountains to the north, the red sandstone Calico Hills to the west, and a desert ridge to the south.
Just follow GPS directions to the Red Spring Picnic Area, find a parking space and look for us at the picnic pavilion. BYOB is allowed so long as there is no disorderly conduct. There is no cost. Donations are most welcome to support the Bears in their charitable endeavors.
After lunch, enjoy a walk along Calico Basin but bring shoes that are comfortable.
Cell phone usage may be limited and there are public restrooms.
