Online Event: Unmasking Our Stories

Join the National LGBTQ Task Force as we lift up National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance (NQAPIA)’s new campaign: Unmasking Our Stories: LGBTQ+ Anti-Asian Violence Under COVID19 at a panel discussion on May 28th at 8pm EDT.

In these already challenging times, API folx are experiencing damaging experiences as they are wrongfully blamed for the pandemic. This discussion is intended to create a safe space for API identified people and allies to hear how NQAPIA will be addressing this issue and how other organizations are also fighting for the community.

The Task Force and National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance will be joined by speakers from Racism Is A Virus, API Equality - Northern California, and the Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund.
